Tea has been a popular beverage throughout the world and serves as a refreshment drinks at any hour of the day. Tea also has many great properties like it is a good antioxidant and has less caffeine than coffee. Mainly because of these two properties tea can be consumed daily without any harmful impact on our health.

1. Green tea: Green tea is now everyone’s choice for a great reason that green tea does not
undergo oxidation process and hence retains its nutritional value; also green tea contains
much lesser caffeine than black tea. Green tea thus is the best one to be consumed as
bed time tea or morning tea

Find some good brand green tea or organically grown green tea for better results. Add
few strands of green tea to boiling water until it gets a mild pinkish red color. Take it
warm.

2. Black tea without sugar: Mild black tea without sugar is a great way to consume tea
for health benefits and daily consumption.
3. Ginger tea: Ginger tea soothes a sore throat and is a good first aid medicine for
common cold. Ginger tea without sugar is a very good medicine. To prepare ginger tea
boil some water and add a few tea leaves to it and crush or pound some half inch of
ginger and add to the boiling water. Do not add sugar for better results.

4. Lemon and Honey tea: Lemon and honey tea has a wide range of health benefits apart
from the very common one i.e weight loss; with the antioxidants from the tea lemon
supplies a good amount of vitamin C along with the goodness of honey. Honey has
antibacterial and anti fungal properties and helps in healing wounds. Lemon and honey is
also good for common cold and sore throat. Boil some water with tea leaves and turn off
once it gets a mild red color , add fresh lemon juice or pour in a slice of lemon and add
honey at the end. consume it warm.

5. Tulsi leaves(Basil) ginger honey tea: These three combinations are best combinations
for improving immunity. Tulsi has many great properties like anti inflammation and curing
infections. Crush some basil/tulsi leaves on boiling water with tea leaves and crushed
ginger. Once ready pour in the hot tea and add a table spoon of honey to it. Consume it
warm.

These healthy tea recipes are full of nature’s goodness and help you to keep away
from common illness and discomforts. Although these ingredients are packed with
medicinal values but if any one is allergic to any of these herbs should avoid consuming
it. All these home remedies and healthy tea recipes are also available as flavored tea and
a good brand of these will also work wonders but best is to prepare everything from
scratch at home.
